About Systems Technology, Inc.

Systems Technology is a small, employee-owned research and development company located in Hawthorne, California.

Systems Technology was founded in 1957 as a small Research & Development company devoted to the study of the behavior of dynamic systems, including ground and aerospace vehicles, and the human operators attempting to control them. Over the years these efforts have spawned a wide range of leading edge research studies into vehicle dynamics, automatic and manual vehicle control and the detailed behavior of the human operator including navigation, guidance, control, decision making and biodynamic response.

This experience includes research in multiple areas of expertise, and has resulted in major contributions in the analysis and simulation of vehicle dynamics, automatic and manual control theory, human factors, human-machine interaction and aircraft and ground vehicle safety.

From our beginnings studying the behavior of dynamic systems, including ground and aerospace vehicles, and the human operators attempting to control them, Systems Technology (STI) has become an internationally-recognized center of expertise. As a prime contractor to the U. S. Government and a consultant to industry, Systems Technology has accomplished several hundred research and development programs in aerospace engineering, ground vehicle engineering, human factors, simulation and systems and controls.
