It is with great sadness we share the news of the sudden death of our President and CEO, Sanjeev Weerasuriya, who died in his home this past weekend.
Since joining STI in 2001, Sanjeev brought his amazing energy and business acumen to move the company forward, setting seemingly impossible goals and achieving them with confidence in every step. Sanjeev rose through the ranks at STI to assume position of CEO, guiding the company to 100% employee ownership, to continued and stable growth, whilst cultivating a positive work environment for all, founded on trust and transparency.
Sanjeev remained actively involved in the local community and will be sorely missed. His profound impact on STI ensures that we are able to continue moving forward along the path that he set.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. His legacy will continue to inspire us all.
