Denton, TX -- [September 18, 2025] -- Texas Woman’s University (TWU) has installed the STISIM Drive® M3000-OT driving simulator at its new Health Sciences Center to enhance clinical training in occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), and speech therapy. This advanced simulator will support students in developing critical skills to work with diverse patient populations, including aging individuals, pediatric patients, and those on the autism spectrum.
The installation is part of a $100M state investment to expand healthcare access in rural North Texas and prepare the next generation of therapists through immersive, high-impact learning. The new simulator will allow students to engage in realistic, hands-on training, empowering them to deliver more effective, patient-centered care.
