Carle Health Upgrades to STISIM Drive® M3000-OT G4 Simulator for Enhanced Rehab

Urbana, IL -- [July 24, 2025] -- Carle Health, a Level 1 trauma center specializing in inpatient rehabilitation for stroke and brain injury patients, has upgraded its driving rehabilitation program with the STISIM Drive® M3000-OT G4 simulator. This new system replaces an older 2013 model and offers advanced technology for real-world driving assessments and therapy.

The installation, which included training for 11 therapists and collaboration with Carle’s IT team, supports the hospital’s mission to help patients regain independence through advanced, functional rehabilitation tools.

The new simulator’s realistic driving scenarios will be key in refining cognitive and motor skills for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and other neurological impairments.
