Sanjeev Weerasuriya
Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Treasurer

Mr. Sanjeev Weerasuriya is the Chief Financial Officer and the Corporate Treasurer at Systems Technology, Inc. Sanjeev has multinational experience in finance, business development and in operations. He is currently responsible for the daily operations of the company.
Since Sanjeev joined Systems Technology, Inc., in 2001, he has helped the company restructure the products profit center that currently generates over 60% of the Company’s revenues. Sanjeev also initiated and implemented financial controls integrating the different DELTEK accounting, financial, and project management modules. He also set up lines of credit with the different banks to ensure liquidity and growth.
Sanjeev headed the team to take Systems Technology, Inc to a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) S Corporation that provides significant tax advantages to the Company. He has a wide range of experience in ESOP’s and has been an advocate for employee ownership speaking at many of the National Conferences.
Originally from Sri Lanka, Sanjeev came to the US to pursue his higher educational goals, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at California State University, Dominguez Hills. While reading for his degrees he was an active participant of student government and was elected Vice President of the student body.
Upon completing his education in the US, Sanjeev joined Aitken Spence, a leading blue-chip conglomerate in Sri Lanka, working in the manufacturing and logistics sectors (1995-2000). As General Manager, Aitken Spence Garments Sanjeev was responsible for the division’s operations and profitability. The Garment division consisted of over 1,500 employees and exported products to the US and the European Community with annual revenues of over US$10 Million. As Manager Special Projects, at Aitken Spence Shipping, Sanjeev successfully managed logistics and coordinated activities of several contractors & government agencies associated with a US$100 million project to build a Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) terminal for Shell Oil Company in Sri Lanka.
