Senior Software Engineer

Peijie YangB.S. in Engineering Mechanics, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, 1995

M.S. in Engineering Mechanics, Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, 2000

Mr. Yang joined Systems Technology, Inc. (STI) in October of 2010. He is one of the main software engineers developing the PARASIM virtual reality simulator. He has demonstrated his solid engineering knowledge and seasoned program skills during the development of PARASIM simulator. He successfully integrated the physics and collision detection module into PARASIM. His work moves PARASIM one giant leap for the latest release. After graduation from Ohio State University, Mr. Yang worked on the math-based metal removal (MBMR) project in the research and development department in Delphi Corporation.

The project developed a computer-assisted tool to simulate and visualize various machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling and milling. The development included mathematical algorithm, visualization and user interactions. More recently, Mr. Yang worked on various projects in software companies including IT and engineering. He has involved in the full life cycle of development and has proven track records of delivering quality solutions to complex problems. Mr. Yang is mostly interested in the fields of research and development of mathematical algorithm, graphics visualization and user interactions.
