P. Chase Schulze
Staff Engineer Research
B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, 2008
M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, California State University, Long Beach (in progress)
Mr. Schulze joined Systems Technology Inc. (STI) in July of 2008. He has experience evaluating the performance of and working with transport aircraft; this includes relaxed static stability aircraft that make use of Fly-By-Wire systems and has a familiarity with the FAA requirements and regulations as they apply to the transport aircraft that use this system.
Mr. Schulze also has experience with rotorcraft and has worked in support of control law gain optimization of a new transport helicopter for the U.S. Navy. He also has participated in and assisted with the conduction of a multi-week piloted rotorcraft simulation using the Vertical Motion Simulator located at NASA Ames. He has also assisted with numerous piloted simulations conducted using System Technologies own fixed based simulator. In addition, Mr. Schulze has experience developing and creating Matlab™ Graphical User Interfaces (GUI’s).
