Senior Specialist

Cecy A. PelzB.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Northrop University, Los Angeles, CA, 1988

M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Northrop University, Los Angeles, CA, 1991

Since joining Systems Technology, Inc. (STI) in 1991, Ms. Pelz has been involved in a variety of real-time simulation and computer modeling projects. She currently oversees requirements development, customer relations, marketing and sales efforts for PARASIM®, STI’s proprietary virtual reality parachute simulator, which has been adopted for airborne operations and emergency egress training throughout the US military.

Ms. Pelz served as Principal Investigator on an Air Force project to develop the Combat Airspace Visualization and Planning System (CAVAPS), a 3-D mission planning visualization system interfacing with the Portable Flight Planning System (PFPS) in use throughout the US military and allied forces. She has also served as Principal Investigator on a SOCOM project to develop a Tactical Insertion Mission Planning and Rehearsal Simulator (TIMPARS) based on PARASIM®, incorporating real world terrain and imagery data into a real-time interactive simulation.
